Our Junior Athlete Program is perfect for young athletes who want to get stronger and more agile. Our beginner strength and agility program is designed to help young athletes reach their full potential. We use a combination of exercises that improve balance, coordination, and strength. Athletes become faster, stronger, and more agile. They'll also develop the motor control needed to stay safe on the field or court. Youth strength training is a great way for kids and adolescents to stay in shape, build muscle, increase bone density, and learn proper movement patterns. It can also enhance sports performance and help protect against injury. Strength training has been shown to improve balance, coordination, power, speed and agility. In addition, it has been linked to improved self-esteem and body image, improved psychological well-being, increased endurance, improved academic performance, and overall physical health benefits. While strength training can be beneficial for kids and teens of all ages, it's important that the exercises are tailored to their age group. This means that younger children should focus on bodyweight exercises with light weights or resistance bands; while teens may be ready for heavier weights with more complex movements. To ensure safety when youth strength training is taking place, always make sure a qualified professional is present to supervise the program. They can provide appropriate instruction based on a child's ability level and make sure correct posture is maintained throughout the workout. As an added bonus, youth strength training can be fun and engaging - it’s an opportunity for young people to learn about exercise in a safe environment while having fun at the same time!
